I’m an HCPC registered, EMDR trained, Drama and Movement Therapist and Supervisor living and working in London.

Placing connection and understanding at the heart of my practice, I offer a culturally sensitive, person centred approach to psychotherapy based on Jungian principles.

My specialist interests include therapeutic encounters through the lens of social justice, cultural influence on emotional development and the influence of the creative arts on brain development.

Further to my role as the Senior Psychological Therapist within HMP Services, I am a visiting lecturer at Roehampton University and performing artist.

As a Sesame trained drama and movement therapist I use a blend of psychology, movement, dramaturgy, stories and neuroscience to support my clients in building a better understanding of their internal worlds.

By using the arts as an explorative tool, truths that are hidden within the depths of the psyche may be revealed in a safe and containing way. In accessing unconscious processes and offering them a form; be that through art, movement, or any other creative medium, we enable ourselves to explore and share our story. This may give us the tools to forming a more integrated understanding of who we are and why.

My interest in neuroscience and training in Neuropsychoanalysis and Neuro-dramatic-play equip me with an understanding of these processes from a neurological perspective, in turn enabling me to facilitate therapy from both a holistic and science led perspective.

Creative processes allow us to retune our neural pathways establishing healthier thought patterns , facilitating a more autonomous relationship with the way we relate to ourselves and the world around us.
